A hail of gunfire on a Sydney home has injured one man and narrowly missed his six family members including his baby grandchild.
Police say seven people were inside the two-storey house in Franklin Place at Bossley Park when the shots were fired just before 11pm (AEDT) last night.
The 51-year-old father says he believed the gunman was after his adult son .. who no longer lives at the family home .. and the shooting was related to a similar attack on the house in 2005.
He was wounded in the leg and treated at the scene by paramedics.
His wife .. two daughters .. daughter-in-law and another man were all inside watching TV during the attack and weren't injured.
