SYDNEY, Jan 4 AAP - Police will lay a murder charge against a 26-year-old man after the death of a 47-year-old man found with serious injuries on the NSW far south coast.
About 4am (AEDT) on Friday emergency crews were called to a unit in Harper Crescent at Narooma where they found the injured man.
"The man was rushed to Moruya Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival," police said in a statement.
A strikeforce was set up to investigate the death, including a detailed forensic examination of the unit where the man was found.
"As a result of their inquiries, detectives arrested a 26-year-old man on Friday morning and charged him over a separate incident," police said.
"The man remains in custody and is next due to appear in Batemans Bay Local Court (on Monday), when he will be charged with murder."
