One protester has burnt an Israeli flag and others have carried coffins during a raucous demonstration in Sydney against the Gaza conflict.
About two thousand people gathered outside the Town Hall in the city centre .. protesting airstrikes in Gaza which have killed hundreds of Palestinians.
Many joined in chants of "Free free Palestine" and "Israel .. USA how many kids have you killed today?"
The protest snaked through CBD streets .. blocking off part of George Street .. with weekend shoppers and commuters looking on.
Protesters carried three coffins past the Egyptian consulate in Surry Hills as a reminder of the lives lost in the conflict .. before making their way to Belmore Park .. where the protest concluded.
The boisterous rally ends a week of peaceful gatherings in Sydney to condemn the conflict and to urge the Australian government to publicly oppose the bombings.
