NSW: Child dies in dog attack

SYDNEY, Jan 7 AAP - A three-year-old girl has died after being mauled by a dog in south-western NSW, while another child and a woman were also injured in the attack.
Paramedics were called to a property in Whitton, near Leeton in the Riverina district, just after 11am (AEDT), a NSW Ambulance Service spokeswoman told AAP.
The three-year-old died at the scene and the woman was injured, she said.
Police said another young child was also injured, but could not confirm age or gender.
Both were taken to Leeton hospital, where the adult remains in a stable condition.
