Qld: Police search for stabbing attacker

BRISBANE, Jan 8 AAP - Two teenagers have been stabbed in an apparent random attack in Brisbane's north.

Police said a man in his early 20s set upon the boys, aged 17 and 16, who were hanging out with friends at an Arana Hills car park about 11pm (AEST) on Wednesday.

Each was stabbed in the abdomen and both are in a stable condition in the Royal Brisbane Hospital.

The man, who did not know the pair, was seen with a woman running from the Patricks Road and Dawson Parade scene.

He is described as having styled dark hair, with a tattoo down one arm and wearing black.

The woman was aged about 20, with blonde hair. She was wearing a white singlet and small coloured shorts.

Police have appealed for anyone with information on the attack to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
