NSW: Officers have lucky escape in road collision

Three police officers have escaped with minor injuries after their truck collided with another car in south-west Sydney .. causing them to crash into a telegraph pole and set of traffic lights.
The caged police truck collided with a car at an intersection of Horsley Drive and Mimosa Road early this morning .. as the officers were responding to reports a hot-air balloon had crashed nearby.
The impact caused the police truck to roll a number of times .. with the vehicle colliding with a telegraph pole and a set of traffic lights.
The two females and one male officer .. all aged in their 20s .. were freed from the vehicle by colleagues .. and taken to Liverpool Hospital with minor injuries .. before being discharged.
The driver of the car .. a man in his 60s .. was also taken to Liverpool Hospital for observation.
Meanwhile .. no-one was injured in the hot-air balloon crash at Horsley Park.
