Qld: Police find drug equipment in car

BRISBANE, Jan 11 AAP - Drug manufacturing equipment has been found in a car after the driver tried to flee a random breath test in Brisbane's east, police say.
The male driver allegedly tried to dodge the operation on Wynnum Road, Tingalpa by turning into a side street about 1.45am (AEST) on Sunday.
But police apprehended the Deception Bay man before allegedly finding drug manufacturing equipment in his car.
The 29-year-old has been charged with one count each of disqualified driving, contravene direction and possess property under the Drugs Misuse Act.
He will appear in the Wynnum Magistrates Court on January 12 for the traffic offences and February 3 for the drug charge.
