QLD: Dildo-wielding man in custody

A Queensland man appears in court again today over the killing of a dog and the use of a dildo to belt its owner about the head.
The Mackay Magistrate's Court's been told SHAUN MICHAEL BURKE and a 21-year-old woman broke into a Mackay home early Monday morning.
BURKE allegedly used the dildo to assault the 49-year old occupant of the home .. hitting her in the head and face.
It's alleged the duo then took the family dog to a nearby park where they taped it to a tree .. causing it to asphyxiate and die.
BURKE has been remanded in custody and could face life in prison.
