Vic: Ex-fire fighter in discrimination bid

A bisexual former fire fighter .. who says he was taunted with a Barbie doll and repeatedly called a poofter .. is fighting the Victorian government in a discrimination claim.
KEN CAMPAGNOLO claims he was repeatedly bullied about his sexuality for more than 10 years .. and publicity about the case has led to him to be evicted .. and sacked as a volunteer trainer at a country football club.
During a preliminary hearing at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal today his former employer .. .. the Department of Sustainability and Environment .. said his claims are false.
The matter will return to court at a date to be fixed.
