An Australian woman is among those who escaped when a plane crashed into New York's Hudson River.
26-year-old EMMA COWAN was on a sight-seeing adventure to The Big Apple when the 150-seater Airbus went down just minutes after take-off.
Ms COWAN called her parents in Perth about an hour after the crash to reassure them of her safety.
Her father STEPHEN COWAN has told Channel Ten it's a miracle everyone survived.
Ms COWAN is believed to be with relatives in the United States .. but her Australian family say they'll join her if they're needed.
