NSW: Teen charged over fatal crash

The teenaged driver of a car which crashed in northern NSW killing one passenger and seriously injuring two others will appear in a Lismore court today charged with dangerous driving causing death.
Police say the car left the road and struck a rocky embankment at Bolivia .. about 35 kilometres south of Tenterfield just after midnight on Saturday.
It had earlier been pursued along the New England Highway after it failed to stop at a roadside breath testing station.
The 17-year-old male driver was arrested on release from hospital yesterday and taken to Lismore Police Station where he was charged with a range of dangerous driving offences.
