SYDNEY, Jan 20 AAP - A four-year-old boy who fell from a second-storey window while playing in Sydney's south-west is in a stable condition in hospital with a broken leg.
Emergency crews were called to an address in Moore Street, Liverpool at around midday (AEDT) on Tuesday after the boy fell from a second-storey window onto grass.
"The boy was playing with a relative in the bedroom of a house in Moore Street," a police spokeswoman said.
"The window was open and covered by a flyscreen but while playing it's believed the boy fell against and then through the screen."
He was taken by ambulance to Liverpool Hospital with a broken leg but was transferred to The Children's Hospital, where his condition late on Tuesday was reported to be stable.
