Vic: Firefighters battle fires in Gippsland region

Firefighters are battling several blazes in state forests and a national park in Victoria's Gippsland region .. as the whole state faces increasing fire danger.
One fire at Yambulla .. near the New South Wales border .. involves two separate blazes in a remote and rugged national park.
Fire crews are confident they'll get them under control later today.
A fire that was threatening houses in bayside suburb Seaford .. in Melbourne's bayside south .. has been brought under control .. after flaring up again from earlier in the week.
A fire also swept through the dry bed of Ballarat's Lake Wendouree early today.
Tomorrow's temperatures are expected to go well into the 30s .. with strong winds .. possible dust storms .. and a total fire ban declared across the state.
