NSW: Woman's body found off Bondi Beach

SYDNEY, Jan 22 AAP - The body of a woman has been found in waters off Sydney's Bondi Beach, police say.
Police were called to the eastern suburbs beach about 10am (AEDT) on Thursday after reports a body had been seen floating offshore.
Local lifesavers confirmed the body was female.
The Westpac rescue helicopter is assisting with attempts to retrieve the body.
A police spokesman said the age and identity of the body had not been determined and they had no idea how long she had been in the water.
Police were not aware of any reports of a missing person in that area, the spokesman said.
