NSW: Father caught driving suspended with children at 216km/h

SYDNEY, Jan 24 AAP - A man with a suspended licence has been caught travelling at up to 216km/h with his wife and young children in the car, police say.
Police spotted a white Mitsubishi 380 sedan travelling south on the Hume Highway at excessive speeds at about 10.30am (AEDT) on Friday.
The driver was pulled over after he was caught driving at up to 216km/h in a 110km/h zone.
A police check revealed the 35-year-old Carlton man behind the wheel had been driving on a suspended licence.
His wife and two young boys, aged four and six, were also found inside the car.
The man has been charged with driving the vehicle recklessly/furiously or speeding in a manner dangerous and exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h.
He has been granted conditional bail to appear in Goulburn Local Court on February 11.
