Vic: Learner driver caught speeding 50kms over speed limit

Police in Victoria say a 25-year-old learner driver will be charged on summons .. after he was caught driving at more than 160-kilometres an hour .. with a young child in the car.
Officers allegedly booked the 25-year-old man from Wangaratta for doing 167-kilometres an hour in a 110-zone on the Hume Freeway .. with his unlicensed partner and three-year-old child in the car.
Senior Constable GEOFF ROTTERHAM says the man's reckless behaviour shows complete disregard for other motorists on the road.
The man will be charged on summons to face court at a later date.
