Vic: Man injured as car punch-up goes wrong

A man suffered serious head and internal injuries when he was run over while allegedly attacking a driver in northern Victoria.
Police say the 30-year-old man was a passenger in the car travelling in Shepparton .. 175 kilometres north of Melbourne .. when he allegedly punched and broke a window about 8.20 last night (AEDT).
It's alleged he then tried to punch the driver through his window when he was ordered from the car.
Police say when the driver pulled away .. the other man clung to the car but fell .. striking a rear wheel and suffering serious head and internal injuries.
He was taken to the Goulburn Valley Hospital and is in a serious condition.
Police are investigating.
