Queensland's emergency service will evacuated four people north-west Queensland as floods threaten their homes.
All four have been stranded on their properties near Georgetown on and off in the past fortnight as heavy rain flood the Gilbert .. Etheridge and Einasleigh rivers.
An Emergency Management Queensland helicopter from Townsville will fly them to Georgetown within the next 24 hours as a precaution.
They're all in good health.
Emergency Services Minister NEIL ROBERTS says a thousand kilograms of food will be flown to other flooded outlying properties surrounding Georgetown.
