NSW: Police searching for four suspects after fatal stabbings

SYDNEY, Feb 2 AAP - Police are searching for four suspects after two men were stabbed to death at Bankstown in Sydney's southwest.
Emergency services were called to Chapel Road, where six people were fighting outside a bar, about 9.20pm (AEDT) on Sunday.
Two men were found with multiple stab wounds to the chest, abdomen and back.
Paramedics tried to revive the men, a 28-year-old from Punchbowl and a 30-year-old from Bankstown, but they were pronounced dead on arrival at Liverpool Hospital.
It's believed the two victims were inside the bar when four others walked past and a fight broke out, Chief Inspector David Small of Bankstown police said.
He said police had not yet determined whether the men knew each other before the incident or whether the fight was gang-related.
"That's something that will be the subject of our investigation. I can't really say that," he told ABC Radio on Monday.
"The term gang is widely used. At this stage it's a group of people, we don't know what sort of form that group took."
Chief Insp Small said a police search was launched in the Bankstown CBD requiring extensive road closures as detectives investigated the scene.
Police earlier said no other persons had been reported with injuries linked to the fight.
"At this stage we've got four offenders outstanding that we're looking for," Chief Insp Small said.
"At the moment the description is quite broad.
"They are all young teenagers, all of Asian appearance, and they are all male."
A crime scene was established on Sunday with police from Bankstown Local Area Command helped by homicide detectives, PolAir and the Dog Squad.
Police have spoken to witnesses and seized a number of items for forensic examination.
Roads were reopened early on Monday morning.
