NSW: More heavy rain expected in Hunter and mid-north coast

More heavy rain is expected on the mid north coast and Hunter Valley regions of New South Wales this afternoon .. as residents near Coffs Harbour remain isolated by floodwaters.
About 500 residents in the community of Darkwood .. on the Bellinger River .. were cut off by three-metre floodwater early this morning.
The SES is bracing itself for more call-outs as the situation gets worse .. after responding to almost 440 call-outs in the 48 hours till midday today.
Most people needing help have been from the Taree and Port Macquarie areas on the mid north coast .. and in the Hunter.
The Bureau of Meteorology says up to 150mm of rain is expected to fall in some locations in the Hunter and mid-north coast tonight and early tomorrow morning.
