NSW: One arrested after woman found dead in unit

SYDNEY, March 1 AAP - A man has been arrested after a woman was found dead and another man seriously injured in an apartment in Sydney's southwest.
Police found a 35-year-old woman dead and a 30-year-old man critically wounded at a unit in Clifford Avenue, Canley Vale, at about 12.30am (AEDT) on Saturday.
The man was taken by ambulance to hospital for emergency surgery.
Strike Force Nicoll, made up of detectives from Cabramatta and the State Crime Commands Homicide Squad, was established to investigate the incident.
At about 2am on Sunday a 24-year-old man was arrested and questioned at Cabramatta Police Station over the incident.
