Changes to speeding offence levels for full licence holders in NSW
Current speeding penalties
0 to 15km/h over - 3 points, $81 fine
16km/h to 30km/h - 3 points, $243 fine
31km/h to 45km/h - 4 points, $621 fine, 3 month licence suspension
More than 45km/h - 6 points, $1674 fine, 6 month licence suspension
New penalties
0 to 10km/h over - 1 point, $81 fine
11km/h to 20km/h - 3 points, $189 fine
21km/h to 30km/h - 4 points, $324 fine
31km/h to 45km/h - 5 points, $621 fine, 3 month licence suspension
More than 45km/h - 6 points, $1674 fine, 6 month licence suspension
