Fire authorities have had to set up a one kilometre evacuation zone around a factory in Sydney's south-west overnight following a gas explosion.
They say a five thousand litre LPG gas cylinder caught alight about seven pm (AEDT) .. in an engineering factory at Narellan.
It's taken about 70 fire fighters two hours to put out the blaze .. but fire authorities say no residents have been affected and there's only been minor damage to a workshop.
They've set up a one kilometre evacuation zone around the factory as a precautionary measure.
Workcover and fire authorities will conduct a full investigation later today.
