NSW: Qld police seize Hanson election funding tapes.

Queensland police have requested tapes of a television program showing One Nation founder PAULINE HANSON becoming emotional as she was questioned over electoral funding.
Ms HANSON will contest the Gold Coast hinterland seat of Beaudesert in the March 21 Queensland state election.
Asked on Channel Seven's Today Tonight program earlier this week why she had transferred funds intended for a previous failed campaign from one account to another .. that only she and a close friend could access .. she refused to discuss what she called internal party politics .. but said everything was above board.
Pressed on why she would need to access the 100-thousand dollars left over from the failed campaign .. Ms HANSON showed increasing frustration.
Today Tonight reports it's handed over the recording to Queensland police.
Swinburne University's election funding expert Professor BRIAN COSTA says it's interesting police have sought to subpoena the recording.
Professor COSTA says any alleged offence is not related to the Commonwealth Electoral Act .. but has something to do with the transferring of funds.
