Qld: Dengue fever spreads west

The dengue fever outbreak that's killed a woman in far north Queensland has spread west from Cairns to the Atherton Tableland town of Mareeba.
Queensland Health says one case of locally-acquired dengue fever type three has been confirmed in the town.
Mareeba has joined Cairns .. Townsville .. Port Douglas .. Yarrabah .. Injinoo and Innisfail in north Queensland's dengue fever outbreaks.
An 82-year-old Cairns woman has died .. and there are currently 660 confirmed cases of locally-acquired dengue fever in the region .. including 582 cases in Cairns and 71 in Townsville.
