The latest Newspoll says Queensland Premier ANNA BLIGH has suffered a massive swing against her since calling the state election .. with the Liberal Nationals now narrowly in the lead.
The LNP leads Labor by 51 to 49 per cent on a two party preferred basis .. a significant turnaround from the 2006 election which the Beattie Government won with 54.9 per cent of the vote.
Ms BLIGH'S personal rating has dropped significantly since the beginning of the election campaign .. with those satisfied with her performance falling from 52 to 45 per cent.
But LAWRENCE SPRINGBORG'S rating has also fallen .. with those satisfied with the LNP leader's performance dropping two percentage points to 44 per cent since the election was called.
The poll says Ms BLIGH still leads Mr SPRINGBORG as preferred premier by 48 to 34 per cent.
