ASIA: UN body informed of NKorea satellite launch

MONTREAL, March 12 AFP - North Korea has informed the UN's International Civil Aviation Organisation that it intends to launch a satellite between April 4 to 8, a UN spokesman says.
"I can confirm that the ICAO received yesterday a letter from the head of North Korean civil aviation with the date and coordinates" for the flight of the projectile to be used for the launch, ICAO spokesman Denis Chagnon said.
"The letter indicates that the launch will fall between April 4 and 8," the spokesman said.
