NSW: Liberals show of strength for Turnbull at Federal Council

Federal Liberal delegates have declared unflinching support for leader MALCOLM TURNBULL at the party's 53rd Federal Council in Sydney.
Amid much applause .. cheering and back-patting .. they spoke of the party strength and resilience .. and confidence of a victory at the next election.
But there was no sign of backbencher and Howard government treasurer PETER COSTELLO .. who's been rumoured to be biding his time to make a challenge as Liberal leader.
Mr TURNBULL .. meanwhile .. took every opportunity to dress down Prime Minister KEVIN RUDD and his government .. describing the Labor leader as a quintessential bureaucrat committed to putting government at the centre of the economy.
