Fed:Almost 8,000 emergency payments to Vic bushfire victims made

Almost eight-thousand people hit by the devastating Victorian bushfires have received emergency payments.
Community Services Minister JENNY MACKLIN says victims of the inferno are still doing it tough almost six weeks on from the disaster.
Personal hardship and distress payments totalling almost six million dollars have been made .. including almost eight-thousand emergency payments.
More than 13-hundred properties have registered under the demolition and clean up program.
