NT: Frenchman dragged from car moments before it ignites

DARWIN, March 27 AAP - A French national has had a lucky escape after he was dragged from his crashed car moments before it burst into flames.
The 30-year-old man was driving a Ford Falcon station wagon on the Lasseter Highway on Friday at Yulara, in the heart of the Australian outback.
Shortly before noon (CST), he overcorrected after veering onto the wrong side of the road, rolling the car four times.
Police said a passing motorist managed to help the driver from the vehicle before it burst into flames. It was completely destroyed in the blaze.
The driver was medivaced to Alice Springs with suspected spinal injuries, prompting police to warn motorists to take particular care when driving on unfamiliar outback roads.
