Qld: Labor confident of holding 52 seats

Labor's confident of holding 52 out of 89 seats in the Queensland parliament with vote counting expected to finish today.
The seats of Redlands .. Cleveland and Chatsworth remain in doubt as the electoral commission prepares to finalise counting.
ALP acting secretary TERRY WOOD says JOHN ENGLISH is 15 votes in front of the LNP's PETER DOWLING in Redlands.
With a recount expected today .. Mr WOOD says Labor's confident of winning the seat.
He says Labor's STEVE KILBURN is ahead of the LNP's ANDREA CALTABIANO in Chatsworth by about 100 votes .. with a formal distribution of preferences expected to determine the final outcome.
The LNP's MARK ROBINSON is expected to win Cleveland.
The final result is expected to be 52 seats for Labor .. 33 LNP and four independents.
