US: Police hunt for clues after immigrant kills 13, self

President BARACK OBAMA says he's heartbroken over the second mass shooting in America in less than a week.
On Friday night in the quiet New York town of Binghamton .. a 41-year-old man of Vietnamese descent shot dead 13 people in the centre where he'd learned English .. before killing himself.
He'd apparently been upset about losing his job and being made fun of because of his poor English.
A week ago a heavily-armed man burst into a North Carolina nursing home where his estranged wife worked .. killing eight people before being shot and wounded by a policeman.
The latest tragedy comes days before the second anniversary of the Virginia Tech massacre .. the deadliest school shooting in US history in which 32 students and professors were shot dead by a student gunman .. and weeks before the Columbine school shooting's 10th anniversary.
