Vic: Rudd to unveil plan to defer mortgages for jobless

The big four banks have agreed to postpone mortgage repayments for up to a year .. to help the rising jobless to hang on to their homes.
Prime Minister KEVIN RUDD's to announce the mortgage relief plan for those thrown out of work by the global recession .. at a community jobs forum today.
The NAB .. Westpac .. the Commonwealth and ANZ have all signed up to the plan to reduce mortgage defaults and forced home sales.
Mr RUDD will tell the forum .. whether you're a banker or a battler .. the only way we'll get through these tough times is to pull together.
