NSW: More than 1,500 Sydney homes lose power

SYDNEY, April 15 AAP - More than 1,500 homes on Sydney's northern beaches were blacked out for about half an hour by a power cut, Energy Australia says.
An Energy Australia spokeswoman, Kylie Yates, said power was restored to the homes at 10.18pm (AEST) on Wednesday.
"They were without power for less than half an hour," Ms Yates told AAP.
She said the interruption was due to a "minor fault on an overhead powerline".
