Vic: Man left seriously injured after club brawl

MELBOURNE, April 18 AAP - Police are appealing for witnesses after a violent brawl at an inner-city nightspot left a man with serious facial injuries.
The fight, involving 15 males, broke out at the BLVD bar on Queensbridge Street about 2.45am (AEST) on Friday.
A man and one of his alleged attackers were separated from the group and continued fighting. The man was then knocked to the ground against a shopfront window.
Police allege he was kicked in the face approximately six times by one man, before a second attacker kicked him once more, leaving him unconscious.
The victim suffered facial fractures and bruises and was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital.
The main offender is described as Asian, approximately 178cm, wearing a white jacket with a thin horizontal black stripe across the chest, dark pants, white shoes and a scarf.
The second offender is described as Asian, of medium build and wearing dark clothing.

The attack comes just days after politicians and publicans met to discuss the issue of growing drunken violence in Melbourne's inner-city bars and nightspots.
