Vic: Man killed while lying on road

MELBOURNE, April 19 AAP - Police are investigating the death of a man who was run over while lying in the middle of the road.
The man was hit by a car in Frankston, south-east of Melbourne, at about 11.15pm (AEST) on Saturday, a police spokeswoman said.
It's believed the man was lying in the middle of the road when a car drove over the top of him.
The area was dark and the driver did not see the man, but stopped as soon as he realised what had happened.
The victim died at the scene.
