EUR: Swine flu outbreak is 'public health emergency': WHO

A swine flu outbreak that's killed dozens in Mexico and sickened a thousand more has world health authorities warning of an international public health emergency.
The virus has already spread across the border .. with nine cases confirmed in California and Texas .. and two in Kansas .. and eight high school students in New York being tested for the strain.
In the UK .. a British Airways cabin crew staff member is being treated in a London hospital with flu-like symptoms after arriving on a flight from Mexico City.
WHO chief MARGARET CHAN has warned the strain has "pandemic potential".
