WA: Three people cleared, seven more tested in WA for flu virus

PERTH, April 28 AAP - Seven people in Western Australia are now awaiting the results of tests for suspected swine flu while another three have been cleared of carrying the virus.
All 10 people had flu-like symptoms and on their return from countries where people are known to be carrying the virus, a Health Department spokeswoman said.
"Three people have been confirmed negative but for another seven, the results are pending," the spokeswoman said.
The department will issue a further update at noon (WST) on Wednesday, the spokeswoman said.
