NSW: 16-year-old boy charged with murder and attempted murder

A 16-year-old boy's been charged with murder and attempted murder over the stabbing death of a man and serious wounding of a woman.
The 47-year-old man and 40-year-old woman were repeatedly stabbed at their home in Stockinbingal .. near Cootamundra in southwestern NSW .. early this morning (AEST).
Police say the boy's known to the couple but isn't a relative.
NSW police have charged the youth with murder .. attempted murder .. aggravated break and enter with intent to commit a serious indictable offence .. and common assault.
Local area commander Superintendent DEAN SMITH wouldn't comment on reports the teenager is the boyfriend of the couple's daughter.
The youth's been remanded in custody to appear at Wagga Wagga Childrens Court tomorrow.
