NSW: Bikies not linked to driveby shooting: police

Investigators have ruled out bikie gang involvement in Sydney's latest driveby shooting .. which narrowly missed two occupants of a house.
A search is underway for two men seen leaving the scene of the shooting .. which occurred just before 10 last night in Belmont Street at Merrylands.
Police say a single gunshot was fired into the front door .. just missing two occupants in the lounge room.
A witness says a man Middle Eastern appearance was standing behind a tree about 50 metres away .. and after the shooting .. two men were seen leaving the area in a black 2000 model Corolla hatchback.
