NSW: Tasmanian man faces NSW court over 1960s sex assault claims

A Tasmanian man is the eighth person to face charges over historic sexual assault claims at a rural New South Wales boys' boarding school.
76-year-old JAMES PATRICK JENNINGS has faced Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court today .. charged with four counts of indecent assault on a male.
Police allege the offences occurred between February and December 1961 at St Stanislaus Catholic College at Bathurst.
Papers tendered to the court show there are two alleged victims .. and three of the charges relate to the same boy.
It hasn't been revealed whether JENNINGS was a teacher at the school at the time of the alleged offences.
He's been granted bail to return to Tasmania .. where he must report to police each Friday .. and is due to face Downing Centre Local Court next on July 14.
