Microsoft and Ninemsn launch search engine Bing

Software giant Microsoft and Australian online media company Ninemsn will launch a new web search engine today that challenges internet search king Google.
Bing.com.au goes live this morning .. and is being described as a Decision Engine that intuitively understands what people are looking for on the web.
Bing incorporates features such as instant answers .. which displays query answers directly within the search results page.
For example .. you could search for Anzac Day and it will instantly tell you the date in an answer box .. as well as the usual search results.
It has a hover preview on the results page .. so when the cursor is moved over a result it displays further information about the site without having to click on the actual website.
