MINOR FLOOD WARNING
FOR THE BELLINGER VALLEY
Issued at 9:23 PM on Sunday the 21st of June 2009
Flood Warning Number: 1
Up to 165 millimetres of rain has fallen in the past 48 hours to 9pm this
evening. Further moderate rainfall tonight is expected to cause minor flooding
along the Bellinger River at Thora and Bellingen
Predicted River Heights/Flows:
Thora - exceed minor flood level (3.0 metres) early Monday morning
Bellingen - exceed minor flood level (3.7 metres) by 3 to 6am Monday
morning with continuing moderate overnight rain.
