NSW: Two men charged over glassing incident at Maroubra

SYDNEY, June 27 AAP - A man has been glassed and beaten up while celebrating a friend's birthday in Sydney's east.
The 19-year-old victim was with friends at a hotel on Meagher Avenue, South Maroubra, when two men allegedly punched him a number of times in the head.
He was also glassed across the bridge of his nose with a bottle.
The man was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital and treated for a deep laceration and bleeding from the nose.
A 24-year-old Matraville man has been charged with affray, assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company and reckless wounding.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Waverley Local Court on Wednesday July 15.
Also, a 21-year-old Botany man was charged with affray, assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company and reckless wounding.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
