Fed: Rudd to call Turnbull's bluff on ETS

KEVIN RUDD is expected to agree today to the opposition's demand to split the climate change legislation.
New Limited reports Mr RUDD will call MALCOLM TURNBULL's bluff and separate the legislation into one bill which will force energy intensive industries to meet renewable energy targets .. and another to set the ETS into action.
Labor's previously rejected calls from opposition parties and industry to allow a separate vote on renewable energy targets in parliament next week.
But the prime minister's move is reportedly an attempt to embarrass the coalition into passing in full the government's climate change legislation which is blocked in the Senate.
