SMOLENSK, Russia, April 10 AFP - Pilot error is suspected as a cause in the crash of a plane carrying President Lech Kaczynski and other top Polish officials in Russia on Saturday, Russian news agencies reported.
"The cause of the plane crash was apparently an error by the crew during the approach to landing," Russian state news agency RIA Novosti quoted an unnamed official in the Russian region of Smolensk as saying.
